Adistal: Design and development of a telemedicine platform built around diagnoses and observations.

The product

Adistal is a telemedicine platform for requesting and issuing medical diagnoses. It connects patients, healthcare providers and specialists, and its data structure follows HL7 standards to ease the exchange of clinical information.

What it does

  • Diagnosis requests and reports
  • Video calls and the Mobile Diagnostic Center
  • User and organisation levels: admins, doctors and patients
  • Notification service

Modules

  • User levels and permissions
  • Interaction between organisations
  • Mobile Diagnostic Center
  • Video calls
  • DICOM standard
  • Notifications
  • Traceability
  • Call centre to route synchronous requests
  • Blockchain-ready

How we built it

Everything revolves around one thing: requesting and issuing medical diagnoses. Requests can be asynchronous, with doctors communicating through reports and notes, or synchronous, over video calls.

User and organisation levels are built on HL7, which makes the system adaptable and scalable. It integrates with the Mobile Diagnostic Center, WebRTC and DICOM, and is ready to handle credits and traceability on blockchain, to monetise requests.
