The idea

In Alba we show the tweets that appear in the places of the world where dawn is happening. The messages users post are collected and placed on a world map that follows the course of sunrise, and then analyzed with different criteria.

How we built it

By combining social networks and weather APIs, we build a database of the messages that appear in different places of the world at the moment of sunrise. As an experimental project, the collection and analysis possibilities the system offers are wide: geographic, demographic, statistical, linguistic and more.
